Legacy Rugby Academy Launches In Michigan

Brighton, MI- The rugby community of Michigan will have a new place to develop their skills with the launch of the Legacy Rugby Academy. LRA will operate out of the Legacy Center in Brighton Michigan, coupled with their world class resources, will aim to provide development opportunities to players, coaches, and referees year round.

The academy has named Brandon Sparks as the director of rugby who brings 14 years of experience in rugby to help organize and provide services to the rugby community. They are committed to providing multiple platforms for rugby players at any age and skill level. Some outlets that will be featured over the next year are;

Legacy Rugby Academy’s first event will be an assembly on Sunday May 22nd to create a men’s and women’s 7s team that will compete this Summer in tournaments around the midwest. Any and all players over the age of 18 are welcome to attend and will start promptly at 9:00am and end at 11:00am. The session will consist of skill development work and scrimmaging. The cost to attend is $10.
