Denver Moving to CIBER Field At DU
Denver are moving from Infinity Park to CIBER Field at the University of Denver for their remaining four matches. The move will mean that all remaining matches will be livestreamed. According to what we understand that means all PRO Rugby matches from here on out will be available online.
CIBER Field is no stranger to rugby having hosted the College 7s Nationals last year. The stadium was opened in 2009 and seats about 2,000 fans. Seating can be expanded a bit to accommodate the roughly 2,300 fans that have shown up to Denver matches so far.

good!!
ReplyDeleteHave to wonder if this means attendance/revenue/rent was not working at Infinity
ReplyDeleteFrom the responses I got to a comment on Facebook, there is apparently an underlying reason for the move. Maybe cheaper option to stream matches and lower overhead in general.
