National Teams/PRO Rugby:

San Diego opened up their season with a win over Sacramento in front of a boisterous crowd. As expected the San Diego backs played a big part in the match.

San Francisco didn't have as much success in their home opener as Denver used their dominant scrum to come away with the win.

The PRP playoff picture cleared up a bit over the weekend. Belmont Shore were eliminated despite beating Denver. That's because OMBAC beat Santa Monica in a match played at Torero Stadium.

SFGG kept their playoff hopes alive and set up a big meeting with OMBAC next week as they beat Olympic Club.

The Varsity Cup final will feature Cal against BYU once again. BYU ran over Arkansas State while Cal barely escaped Central Washington on a missed penalty at the death.

St. Mary's will play Utah and Life will play Lindenwood in the DI-A semi-finals while the DI-AA finalists are set.

Alex Solomon has recaps of Lindenwood over Indiana, Utah over Arizona, Life over Davenport, and St. Mary's over Air Force.

Penn State will play for another national title after beating Life. They will play BYU who beat Central Washington.


The Dan Carter let Racing 92 team will play Saracens in the Champions Cup final.
