Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

Action for Americans has slowed down in Europe this week with the European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup taking center stage. Only one team with Americans on it is still alive in the competition and it should come as no surprise that it's Saracens. Chris Wyles will start for the team once again while Titi Lamositele is on the bench. We should take a minute to give Lamositele credit. He's a young player (only turned 21 in February) that went straight from high school to Saracens and now he has the potential to play in a Champions Cup semi-final. What an accomplishment.

Elsehere, several Americans are participating in the All Ireland League playoffs either to win the league or for promotion. Americans are also going to see time in Super Rugby. Marcel Brache will start for the Western Force while Andrew Durutalo will do the same for the Sunwolves. Toni Pulu will start for the Chiefs.
