Iosefo Makes Vancouver Dream Team, Hong Kong Draw

The draw for the Hong Kong 7s is out and the Eagles have been given another solid group. It's not the "pool of death" that they faced in Vancouver but it will once again be a tough outing as they will play Australia, Argentina, and Portugal. Australia made the top four in Vancouver and currently sit fourth in the overall standings, 14 points higher than the Eagles. Argentina were disappointing last weekend finishing in the Bowl semi-finals. Thanks to that result the Eagles are now alone if fifth place, seven points above Argentina. Portugal made the Bowl semi-finals for the first time this season but sit all the way back in the relegation spot.

The Eagles also had a member on the Dream Team with Martin Iosefo claiming the honors. He was big for the Eagles all weekend and was well deserving of the honor. Tim Mikkelson is the only player representing champions New Zealand on the team. South Africa have Justin Geduld and Kwagga Smith, Fiji have Jasa Veremalua and Kitone Taliga, and Samoa have Phoenix Hunapo-Nofoa on the team.
