Hoadley Named San Diego Assistant

The coaching staffs for the inaugural PRO Rugby season are for the most part set after the league announced today that Rob Hoadley has been named an assistant in San Diego. He joins head coach Ray Egan and assistant Matt Hawkins. Born and raised in England, Hoadley was most recently the backs coach for the Eagles during the Americas Rugby Championship. He also has coached at Stanford and Wasps.

PRO Rugby is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Hoadley as Assistant Coach for the San Diego team in PRO Rugby’s 2016 inaugural season. Hoadley was born in London and had an extensive playing career at center with both London Irish and Wasps, where he later became defense coach under the famous defensive guru Shaun Edwards. Hoadley has most recently coached at Stanford University, and is the current backs coach for the USA Men’s Eagles.
