Ebner, Buydens Set For Hong Kong 10s

Even though it's often overshadowed by the Hong Kong 7s, the Hong Kong 10s tournament consistently draws in some of the best players from around the world, including Americans. This year the tournament is no different. The biggest American name taking part is Nate Ebner. The New England Patriot turned Olympic hopeful will be suiting up with English club Samurai. That team is usually loaded with players that have Sevens Series experience or are professionals in New Zealand. It's going to be the first chance for Ebner to get rugby time under his belt in an effort to make the Paris and London legs later in the year. It's also an opportunity to be around the team in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Also playing for Samurai at the tournament is Hubert Buydens, who recently signed with PRO Rugby. The Canadian international will play in the tournament on a break from San Diego. Former Junior All-American Sam Sirrel is also in the tournament and will be playing for the Irish Vikings. It's also still possible that there could be other players with American connects that pop up and play in the tournament.
