Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

AJ MacGinty was a player on fire over the weekend for Connacht. He was named Man of the Match for scoring the opening try and adding a crucial conversion later. Aside from scoring he was all over the pitch and was well-deserving of the award. MacGinty has excelled since arriving at Connacht and every time he's start the team has won. For a U.S. fly-half being a part of a team in one of Europe's top leagues is huge.  Also having a big weekend was Taku Ngwenya. He is hitting fine form for Biarritz with yet another try. He is on pace for another big season. Elsewhere, Blaine Scully and Greg Peterson both went the distance for their teams.
