Eagles 7s Picked For Latest Camp

The Eagles 7s short break after the Vancouver 7s is over as the team is back at the OTC prepping for Hong Kong. Head coach Mike Friday has once again called in an extended camp led by contracted players at the OTC with some players from the outside. The most notable addition is Nate Ebner who is with the team through Rio. This is his first go since coming back to rugby so his 7s fitness may be an issue. That said, he Friday and Chris Brown think he has something it won't be a surprise to see him on the roster.

Also returning to the team but not under contract is Ben Pinkelman. He really came into his own during the last two legs and it wouldn't shock us to see him start. Kingsley McGowan is also in camp. He recently returned from Ireland and has signed with San Francisco in PRO Rugby. Nic Edwards (injured in the ARC), Matai Leuta (injured in Vegas), Kevin Swiryn, Brett Thompson, and Steve Tomasin are all unavailable due to injury.

Squad: Nate Augspurger, Perry Baker, Danny Barrett, Garrett Bender, Pat Blair, Nate Ebner, Will Holder, Madison Hughes, Martin Iosefo, Carlin Isles, Ben Leatigaga, Kingsley McGowan, Folau Niua, Thretton Palamo, Ben Pinkelman, Joey Sok, Shalom Suniula, Zack Test, Peter Tiberio, Chris Turori, Maka Unufe
