Clever Back In As Eagles Name Starters Against Uruguay

Head coach John Mitchell hasn't pulled an punches and has called in a couple of reinforcements as the U.S. get ready to play Uruguay tomorrow. Todd Clever and Titi Lamositele have been released by their clubs and are in the starting line-up. Also back in are Nate Brakeley, who is on the bench, and Lorenzo Thomas. Deion Mikesell will get a chance to follow in the footsteps of Thomas and gain his first Eagles cap after playing for the U-20s.

Eric Fry will pair with Lamositele and Mike Sosene-Feagai in the front row. Brodie Orth and Ben Landry will get a chance to pair up again in the locks while David Tameilau starts his fifth straight match for the team at number eight. He'll be joined by Clever and Aladdin Schirmer in the front row.

In the backs Mike Te'o will get a chance to start at scrumhalf again while James Bird in the fly-half. Tim Stanfill and Mikesell are the wings with JP Eloff at fullback. Chad London will pair with Thomas to try and recreate their magic they had against Canada.
