Buydens Joins Up With San Diego

PRO Rugby has added another Canadian and this time it's prop Hubert Buydens. The prop joins Nick Blevins, Phil Mackenzie, Ray Barkwill, Jake Ilnicki, and Kyle Baillie as Canadians in the competition. Buydens will be playing in San Diego with Ilnicki and Mackenzie. He also adds to the San Diego forwards corp which is a little thin in announced players in comparison to their backs. Buydens also adds to what is increasingly a talented prop group in the competition as a whole.

Here is the announcement from PRO Rugby:
PRO Rugby is pleased to announce the signing of Hubert Buydens to play for San Diego in the inaugural 2016 PRO Rugby season. Born in Saskatoon, Buydens played his club rugby for the Castaway Wanderers and then for provincial side the Prairie Wolfpack, before a stint in New Zealand with provincial side Manawatu. He has represented Canada at prop 43 times, including the 2011 and 2015 World Cups.
