Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

By starting tonight for the Sunwolves Andrew Durutalo will become only the second capped Eagle to play in Super Rugby. Todd Clever was the only other player to gain a cap and then play Super Rugby. The rest of the players who have played in the competition and for the U.S. did so after leaving the Southern Hemisphere. Greg Peterson is a prime example of that. It's quite a feat for Durutalo who has done a lot of positive things in his rugby career. Also in Super Rugby this weekend and starting is U.S.-eligible Marcel Brache for the Western Force.

Elsewhere, Christian Ostberg was on the bench for Aurillac for the first time this season having played for the reserves. He came of the bench for 20 important minutes in the second half. Also, all three Americans will start for Saracens. It's Titi Lamositele's first start.
