TIAR Awards, Men's College Player of the Year: Dylan Audsley

As we've sorted through who would win this year's TIAR Awards we were continually stuck on who to name as our College Player of the Year. Once again there were a number of outstanding candidates. Jake Anderson had a great year with Cal, Niku Kruger stood out with Kutztown, Jihad Khabir from AIC, Malcolm May from Wheeling Jesuit, and Kyle Sumsion from BYU all had strong years. That's a heady list to choose from. We could have copped out and picked them up but we decided that at least one of them deserved special recognition.

While all the players listed above bring something special to their team, once player in particular stood as a key component of his team--Dylan Audsley. Anyone who say Audsley play this last year for DI-A champions St. Mary's saw something special. He has a unique mix of abilities that is found in a lot of players but rarely in one. He has great vision, he can kick, his defense, is strong, and most crucially for us, he steps up in the big moments. If you are a coach you love to have a player that is willing to rise to big occasions and challenge his team to get better with their play. Audsley is that and for all those reasons is our College Player of the year.

All TIAR Awards are brought to you by Canterbury USA. For all your team gear as well as replica jerseys make sure to check them out.  #CommittedToTheGame
