Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

At first it didn't look like it was going to be a busy weekend for Americans overseas but some last minute adjustments to line-ups meant that several Americans were involved. Both Blaine Scully and Cam Dolan got the opportunity to get a run out in the Champions Cup for Cardiff. Scully got the start while Dolan came off the bench in a losing effort against the Harlequins. Still, it's solid game time in a good competition. Also getting game time was AJ MacGinty who started for Connacht in the Challenge Cup. He hit a penalty for the Eagles in their loss. Chris Wyles started for Saracens and Paddy Ryan started for Newcastle respectively. Down in France, Taku Ngwenya started again but uncharacteristically came off in the 47th minute. He usually plays the full match for Biarritz.
