Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The big news today concerning Americans overseas was the word that many of them would be involved in the upcoming Americas Rugby Championship matches, in particular the match against Argentina. Not all, but some of the clubs with Americans on them will have the weekend off the week of the Argentina match. Many Americans are called in as cover for the Six Nations so it will be interesting to see what happens now that clubs know they might lose them during a crucial time.

Of the players seeing game time this weekend, all three Americans at Saracens will be involved. Chris Wyles will start while Hayden Smith and Titi Lamosistele are on the bench. Paddy Ryan and Eric Fry are on the bench for Newcastle while Callum Black, Greg Peterson, and Blaine Scully will all get starts for their team. Lastly, we've added former Metropolis player Derrick Van Klein to our list as he is now playing with James Bay.
