TIAR Awards, Men's Club of the Year: Life

There were some excellent choices for our Men's Club of the Year award. The Austin Blacks had a great season making it to the DI final. NYAC won the DI championship while the Glendale Raptors picked up a PRP title. All three of those teams would have made strong selections. That said, for us there was no better team this last year than Life. Like NYAC and Glendale, Life picked up a championship last year winning the ARP.

For us, what separates them from the rest of the pack was the way they dominated the ARP and the fact that they were the only team to go undefeated. In four games this fall they have a whopping point differential of +176 having only given up 45 points. Last spring it was the same as they finished the 2014-15 season with a 8-0 record and a point differential of +232. Other teams have won their competitions but few have dominated like Life. It helps that they have a really strong roster that had AJ MacGinty on it but it's also about the character of the organization that they've been able to create such a powerhouse. Now, if we could only get a Austin-Seattle-Glendale-Life series going!

All TIAR Awards are brought to you by Canterbury USA. For all your team gear as well as replica jerseys make sure to check them out.  #CommittedToTheGame

  1. It's only a matter of time before the midwest programs and clubs form a strong organization like the ARP or PRP, or even join some of these associations. A strong Kansas City base between Chicago's stronger teams connecting with the deep south in texas could be the link the midwest has been looking for.
