Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

Success was the word of the weekend of for Americans in the European Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup. Only one match in which an American played did the American's team lose. That was U.S.-eligible Dave Ryan and Agen. Otherwise, Ulster 'A', Glasgow, Saracens, Toulon, Cardiff, and La Rochelle all won. In fairness, Newcastle did lose to Connacht but no American played in that match. None of the Americans at Newcastle are on their European roster while AJ MacGinty is still injured. Also injured is Blaine Scully. The player to have the most success over the weekend was Chris Wyles who scored a great try for Saracnes.

  1. Could you guys find out information about the players who do not make the premiership teams but play in the academy and such. I am sure they do local press releases for those teams.
