Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

Like we did for our weekly television listings we're getting a jump start on Eagles Abroad this week. Since it's a little early and most teams won't announce their squads until Christmas this week's edition might not be as detailed in terms of who is starting. However, it does give us the opportunity to look back on Monday's 'A' League play in England. Saracens had the weekend off from 'A' League play but for Newcastle there were three Americans involved. Todd Clever and Paddy Ryan both started for the Falcons as they lost to Sale while Eric Fry came off the bench. Clever in particular was active in the match setting up several scoring chances. Not in the 'A' League but another player to see time on loan to a lower division is Greg Peterson. He's been playing regularly for Ayr in the Scottish Premiership.
