Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

It's European action once again for most Americans in Europe. Blaine Scully already played in a match for Cardiff going 50 minutes. Unfortunately Cardiff weren't able to come away with the win. Americans set to start in the Champions Cup include Chris Wyles and Samu Manoa. Players that will get a rest this weekend include Greg Peterson and AJ MacGinty. The American trio at Newcastle--Todd Clever, Eric Fry, and Paddy Ryan--are not listed on the Falcons European roster. In the British and Irish Cup two Americans will go head to head as Thretton Palamo and London Welsh play Cam Dolan and the Cardiff Premiership Select. Both players are set to start. Also starting is Tom Bliss for Ealing. Down in France, some teams will have the weekend off while others make up for postponed matches.
