Tiger Rugby Names Side For Central Coast 7s

Tiger Rugby have named a very strong squad ahead of their trip to the Central Coast 7s in Australia in three weeks. Immediately the biggest name to stand out is former Tiger Rugby resident turned Eagles star Perry Baker. He made his name playing for Tiger Rugby in tournaments like this and this will be a great opportunity for him to get a run out against good competition to before the World Sevens Series starts. The staff at Tiger Rugby have also worked with the Eagles coaching staff to get the release of Steve Tomasin, Mike Te'o, Nic Edwards, and Pat Blair for the tournament. This, combined with the Halloween 7s should give the players in the Eagles playing pool an opportunity to prove themselves in a good tournament.

Other players on the roster include Ben Leatigaga and Mattie Taigo from the WCAP program. SFGG star Pila Huihui, who has been playing with Columbus and training with Tiger Rugby. Rounding out the roster are Tiger Rugby standouts Zach Pangelinan and Taylor Howden as well as former All Black 7 Rocky Khan and up and coming Aaron Davis.

  1. Really strong side. Excited to see what Huihui can do against stronger competition - he was pretty much unstoppable in the PRP.
