Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The World Cup forced most of the top leagues around the world into a break for a couple of weeks but that wouldn't really matter for most of the Americans in those leagues as most of the players are with the Eagles at the World Cup. Of the players that did see action, Tom Coolican started and was shown a yellow in a heavy defeat for the Sydney Stars. In New Zealand, Mike Lawrenson was rested while Toni Pulu started and put in a full shift. Over in England, Tom Bliss saw his first action for Ealing but couldn't help them to a win. Also in England, Ronnie McLean is standing out for his new side Richmond.
