Mike Friday Leaving London Scottish

It's impossible to question Mike Friday's work ethnic. To say that the man is busy is a severe understatement. In addition to being the Eagles coach this last year he also took on a role as Director of Rugby at London Scottish. He moved into that position after being backs coach the previous season. Now it seems that the multiple roles, along with his other activities, have caught up him. Friday announced today that he will be leaving London Scottish at the end of the month.

It seems that is success with the Eagles played a factor. In a club press release, Friday said "I have had a fantastic time being part of the Incredible Journey. With my other rugby and business interests, however, it's not going to be sustainable for me to continue in the role and do the Club justice, so I have had to make the difficult decision to step down. I want to thank the players first and foremost for their commitment and resolve throughout this past season which has enabled them to achieve what they have. I am sure they can kick-on further next season, working with such a hard-working and talented coaching and High Performance team."

This has to be good news for American fans as he'll be able to now give even more time to the Eagles.

What do you think of the news?
