Many past United States Eagles players have already confirmed their attendance, including Ed Burlingham, Butch Horwath, Jeff Hollings, Whit Everett, Chip Howard, Rich Schurfeld, Bill Fraumann, Brian Hightower, Chris Lippert, Mike Purcell, John Jelaco, Brian Vizard, Don James, Gary Hein, Pat Johnson and Jake Burkhardt. In addition, former U.S. Eagles 15s and 7s coaches George Betzler, John McKittrick and Ray Cornbill will be on hand. Cornbill will be joined by fellow U.S. Rugby Hall of Fame member Keith Seaber.

Also taking part in the festivities is former New Zealand Prime Minister and current New Zealand Ambassador to the United States, Rt. Hon Mike Moore.

A raffle, which will include autographed sports memorabilia, including several signed rugby jerseys, will take place following the official program.

Typically the 90-minute program turns into a full day extravaganza so please plan your schedule accordingly. We don't call it a lost afternoon for nothing.

The best part of it all is that all proceeds from the Lost Afternoon Luncheon will be directed towards youth rugby, with the majority of the proceeds benefitting Illinois Youth Rugby.

So join us for a day of rekindling old friendships, making new ones and supporting youth rugby.

You can sponsor a table of 10 for $1,000. Single seats can also be purchased for $100. Remember, all proceeds benefit youth rugby. Registration deadline is noon EST on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

See you on October 31st.
