U.S.A. Rugby has announced preliminary rosters for both the Men's and Women's 7's team for next month's Rugby Sevens World Cup. The only changes to the squad include Maka Unufe, Mike Palefau, and Jack Halalilo coming in for Blaine Scully, Luke Hume, and Pila Taufa. Both Scully and Hume are with the Eagles fifteens. Unufe returns from a lengthy injury but will be able to provide pace and power at the wing position. Palefau will provide his usual savvy running and strong defense.

The team will train at the Olympic Training Center before heading off to Seattle to train with Serevi Rugby. They are in a pool with New Zealand, Canada, and Georgia.
